This is a 10-20 minute assembly about the important issue of homelessness in the UK. It was originally a Year 8 tutor time PSHE session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole PSHE or Citizenship lesson for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). This is a 15-20 minute assembly about finance. This is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) as a focus on finance education or PSHE or a standalone assembly. It covers:

This session was originally used as a Year 7 (11 years old) PSHE tutor time session and was received very well by over 400 students.
This is a PowerPoint with different moral questions to make students think. For example, “if you borrow a million pounds are you a millionaire?”, “Can you get lost if you don’t know where you are going.” These are great discussion questions for assemblies, debates or citizenship/PSHE/SMSC provision. They will improve communication skills in tutor time sessions or as starters to lessons. They are appropriate for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (11-18 years old).

It was originally a tutor time PSHE session for Year 7 but is suitable for any short pastoral time with KS3, KS4 and KS5 students (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). This is a 10-20 minute assembly about time management and how students can manage their time when they are at home. It was originally a Year 10 tutor time PSHE session but is suitable for a whole school assembly or session for KS3, KS4 & KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). It includes some brilliant tips for students to organise their time when they are not in school. It also includes important definitions and examples of the best study techniques so their time is managed effectively. It contains some discussion activities and a plenary task discussing a variety of quotes about time management. It could easily be lengthened with a timetable planning activity if you needed it to last a whole lesson. This session has two short downloaded video clips that will never disappear.
It fits into the mental health, key skills, PSHE and core tutor time programmes across secondary school. Students reacted very positively to this presentation and they said it had helped them with managing their time effectively for revision.
This is a 10-15 minute assembly, tutor time session or PSHE session. It was originally a PSHE session for KS3, KS4 and KS5.

This is a 15 minute assembly, PSHE, tutor time session which covers what terrorism is, what the opinions of young people are about terrorism and focuses on what to do in a terrorist attack. It mentions the Prevent Strategy and has discussion questions and no written tasks. This was originally taught to Year 10 (14-15 year olds) and students reacted well to this presentation. It gives them advice, further information and support and helplines if they need further guidance. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grade 6-12) but it should be noted that this content should be discussed sensitively with students. There are two downloaded video clips which will never disappear.
This could be shortened or lengthened according to the session and it can be used for tutor time, assembly, PSHE, Citizenship or British Values lesson or an informative look at what students should do in a terrorist attack as a whole school message.
Students reacted very well to this session and lots of interesting discussions came from it.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly on homophobia. It lasts 15-20 minutes and includes discussion questions and a downloaded video that will never disappear. It gives students sources of support and guides them through the legal implications of hate crime, particularly homophobia and transphobia. This was delivered to Year 7 in a tutor time PSHE session but is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18, Grades 6-12) and could be used as an assembly instead. There are no written tasks in this PowerPoint.
This fits into the new RSE and Health Curriculum and is a useful whole school tutor time session to approach the issue of homophobia in schools.
This is a two document package. One is a two sided powerpoint giving 60 PSHE tasks for students to do to keep themselves occupied and to learn about some important issues. This was originally used as a resource for when students were in lockdown at home but has been revamped as a resource with 18 tasks for pupils isolating or alternatives for students if they are pulled out of a PSHE lesson for any reason. There is also some mindfulness colouring in case students are struggling with an issue and just need some time out. There are also some links included to Oak Academy lessons that can be done as home learning. You will get both documents here in case you prefer one to the other or need both for the same purposes as I am using them. Suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and many students have commented about how much they learnt and enjoyed these activities.
This is a weekly plan for PSHE in tutor time on a Thursday next year. It cover PSHE and Citizenship topics and also cover areas of Finance Education, Careers, Character Education, SMSC and FBV. This presentation was as a result of online abuse happening within the school community and it was a very effective presentation for the whole school.
It was delivered during Ramadan so online sexual abuse is not covered.

This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time session about anxiety. It explores ways to help someone suffering with anxiety and how to deal with a panic attack. It incorporates two youtube clips and has a discussion focus. There are no written tasks to complete. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 to give them a quick overview of what anxiety is and how we can support people with mental health issues. This could be used as part of the new RSE & Health Curriculum or as part of a standalone session on mental health, PSHE or tutor time resource.
This powerpoint is designed to last 10-15 minutes as a presentation to be delivered in tutor time to any of KS3 or KS4 (Years 7-11, Ages 11-16). It contains downloaded videos, definitions, information, quizzes and discussion activities. It does not contain written activities but these could easily be added to create a whole lesson. This is a 15 minute tutor time PSHE session about budgeting. It was originally designed for a Year 7 PSHE tutor time session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole lesson. It is suitable for Ages 11-16 (Years 7-11, KS3-KS4, Grades 6-10).
